Time between Treatments
Please note that it takes four weeks for the body to begin breaking down the ink and that even though the tattoo may appear healed, it is not. The body requires four to six weeks to remove the ink from tissues and this is the time required between treatments for optimum results and to avoid the possibility of scarring.
What should You do before your treatment
Stay out of the sun, solarium's or any form of tanning including lotions. Treatments may be postponed if a client has a tan. Sun exposure may lead to complications or side effects. Our expert clinicians will provide a list of requirements.
What to expect during treatments
This procedure is slightly more uncomfortable than getting a tattoo, however it is very fast. Most treatments take between 25 - 60 seconds.
What to do after treatments
Limit the amount of exercise and sun exposure for the first 24 hours. If the body gets too over heated it can cause the tattoo to blister. Showers can be taken but only if they are lukewarm and use mild soap.
The Conbio Medlite C6 Laser has four wavelengths to remove all colours of ink. However white and pink cannot be removed and green and blue require extra treatments as these colours are more difficult to remove.
The laser is accurate and can remove specific parts of tattoos.
How many treatment does it require?
On average, tattoos take between 5 and 15 treatments. Things such as colour, type of ink, skin colour, location, and age of tattoo effect how many treatments you will need. When you come in for a consultation we can look at your tattoo and review all of this with you.
Avoid sunlight, any form of tanning, sprays or sun lotions. Sun exposure may lead to complications or side effects including pigmentation and/or burns. The procedure may have to be postponed if you have a tan.

Please shave the tattoo area one day prior to treatment if it is located in a hair bearing area.
Topical anaesthetic may be applied 30-60 minutes prior to treatment.
